Registration Information
Forty-four years ago, a group of practitioners decided software quality deserved a serious conversation. We're still here. Peer-reviewed, nonprofit, all-volunteer. No vendor agenda. We're the only peer-reviewed professional software quality conference in the United States.
October 12-14, 2026
Two days of peer-reviewed talks, keynotes, and real conversations with practitioners who are navigating the same questions you are.

PNSQC 2026 will be hosted at the University Place Hotel & Conference Center, located in inner southwest Portland, Oregon.

Accommodations
For those coming to the conference in person, we’ve negotiated a discount at the University Place Hotel attached to the conference center.
- Hotel room block is limited. Book early to lock in the discounted rate. Call the hotel directly at (503) 221-0140 or email uplace@pdx.edu and reference PNSQC 2026.
Attend Virtually
Can't make it to Portland? The full conference is available virtually with live-streamed keynotes and sessions, and the recordings are available on demand after the event. Same content at a fraction of the cost: $499.
Attendee Discounts
PNSQC is a nonprofit; we keep registration affordable on purpose. Here are the options:
To apply any discount, email events@pnsqc.org before registering. Include your name and which discount you are requesting. We will reply within 2-3 business days.
Group Rate
We offer a 15% discount for group registrations of 3 or more attendees.
Oregon Resident Rate
We offer a 10% discount for in-state residents of Oregon.
Please provide proof of current residency (ie. home address) when contacting us about this discount.
Student Pass
There is a special $99 rate for students for registration to all on-site events during the 2-day technical conference (workshops not included).

Social Events
Sunday Night Opening Reception
Join us on Sunday night before the conference starts, for food, drinks, and conversation. This is a fun chance to meet special guests, authors, and volunteers informally ahead of the conference. Anyone with a paid registration for PNSQC 2026 is invited to attend.
Monday Happy Hour
